Why Wood Fences in Denver Are Not Used Too Often for Commercial Fencing

Denver commercial fencing

Wood fences in Denver aren't the best option when it comes to commercial properties. That’s because wood is more of an exotic material used in fences for people who want something with more design details. When it comes to commercial fencing, people usually want something cheap, low-maintenance, and easy to replace. Wood does not meet any of these criteria. That’s why people in commercial areas don’t really go for wood fences. Sure, you can use them if you want your shop to have a little more personality, but they don’t really do the trick in industrial areas.

Denver commercial fencing pros affirm that wood fences don't offer the protection and resistance other fencing systems do. For instance, wood fences have to be constantly checked for mites and signs of rot, and affected elements have to be replaced in order to avoid it spreading.  Plus, wood isn’t a material that handles mechanical stress well. In a commercial or industrial setting, there are a lot of doors and gates swinging open and closing, trucks creating vibrations, and items being placed against fences. Wood isn’t the material of choice for such conditions.
